I’m over 60 and not flexible. Can I still do yoga?
Absolutely! My classes are designed especially for older adults, with options for all levels and mobility needs. Flexibility is not a prerequisite — it’s something we gently build over time.
What if I have arthritis / osteoporosis / a chronic condition?
My classes are designed with common age-related conditions in mind. In every class, I offer suggestions to help you adapt movements for your body. For personalized support, consider a 1:1 yoga therapy session.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely.
For in-person classes, I encourage you to bring your own yoga mat. I provide all other props.
For Zoom classes, I recommend having a sturdy chair and a yoga mat nearby. It’s also helpful to have these props on hand: a blanket, two blocks, and a yoga strap.

What should I expect in a class?
All of my classes are warm, welcoming, and paced to meet you where you are. We begin with a short introduction to build your understanding of topics like anatomy, the aging process, and current yoga research — because education is an important part of how I support your practice.
During movement, I offer clear cues, modifications, and options for every pose. Whether you’re practicing from a chair, the floor, or standing, you’ll find accessible choices that work for your body.
How do I sign up?
You can register for any offering directly on either the Offerings page or the Schedule page. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact me with questions. I’m always happy to help!
What technology do I need?
All you need is a device with internet access, such as a tablet or computer. Classes are held on Zoom, so if you haven’t used it before, you’ll want to download the free Zoom app ahead of time: https://zoom.us/download.
You’ll receive a class reminder email the day before and again one hour before your scheduled class, with the Zoom link included.
What if I miss a live class?
If you’re a Morning Moves or Strong & Fit package holder, you’ll have access to class replays in the membership library — so you can catch up anytime.
For all other classes, you’re welcome to attend a different session as a makeup. Just let me know at least a day in advance by replying to your confirmation email or emailing me directly at beverly@wisdomtreeyoga.com.
