Strong Bones Collection (4-videos)

This four-video collection is for individuals with osteoporosis or osteopenia, or those who want to keep their bones strong. Videos include:

  • Video 1: Spinal Decompression Practice (16 minutes): Using the floor for resistance, this short mat sequence helps to decompress and lengthen the spine.

  • Video 2: Core and Low Back Strength (24 minutes): a dynamic floor practice for strengthening the abdominals and lower back.

  • Video 3: Standing Poses at the Wall (12 minutes): a series of standing poses proven to increase bone density. Poses include Warrior II, Triangle, Side Angle, Chair Pose, and Triangle. Variations are provided to accommodate individual needs.

  • Video 4: Strength Your Wrists and Arms with Weights(20 minutes): a combination of standing and floor poses using hand weights for added resistance and bone building. You will need two 1-2 pounds weights and a yoga block.

Disclaimer: the movements offered in this video are designed to address strength, balance, and mobility for those with low bone density, but any physical activity can result in injury, so do so at your own risk.
